Wolves fans desperate for club to sign £31m winger after report
Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in signing Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic this summer but face competition from other Premier League sides – and Wolves fans are desperate to see him signed.
30-year-old wide man Perisic is currently in talks with Arsenal, but Wolves and Leicester City have become interested in the Croatian are keen to make a move.
It is believed that the 82-time Croatia international, who scored the winner to knock England out of the 2018 World Cup at the semi-final stage last summer, will cost any interested parties £31million.
Last season, he found the back of the net nine times and laid on eight more assists in 45 outings. It is believed he has a contract at the Giuseppe Meazza until the summer of 2022.
Wolves do not play with wingers and a move for Perisic is unlikely, given that the calibre of player far exceeds the Molineux club while Santo would have the change his system to incorporate wide men – just for Perisic.
Regardless of that, though, Wolves fans took to Twitter to consider the possibility of signing Perisic, and many fans are desperate to see the former Wolfsburg star in gold next season.
