Wolves fans demand Patrick Cutrone starts against Sporting Braga

Wolverhampton Wanderers travel to Portugal to face Sporting Braga on Thursday evening – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are desperate to see Patrick Cutrone recalled to the side.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side currently sit second in their Europa League group and know that a point against Braga will secure their qualification for the knockout rounds.

After a slow start to the season, the West Midlands club are now starting to look a real force again and are hitting top form.

They should be able to get out of their European group with two games left to try achieve that, while in the Premier League they have risen up to fifth in the table.

A selection of Wolves supporters on social media have demanded that Cutrone is promoted to the starting XI, which would give quality first-choice striker Raul Jimenez a much-needed rest.

Cutrone, 21, has started on the bench for the last four games across all competitions and should be raring to go.

His last start came against Aston Villa on 30 October in the League Cup and he did manage to score in the defeat.

But the Italian centre-forward has just two goals in 19 games this campaign across all competitions and is yet to really set the world alight at Molineux since his summer arrival from AC Milan.
