‘Without a doubt’: 29-year-old Everton star says he’s definitely available to play against Aston Villa this weekend
Conor Coady completed his move to Everton last night and .
The 29-year-old has joined the Toffees on loan this season after being the captain at his former club Wolves.
Frank Lampard will be delighted to have a player such as Coady who will definitely bring experience to the Everton defence.
And despite not featuring for Wolves over the weekend, Coady says he will be ready to play against Aston Villa on Saturday.

, he said: “Without a doubt. I’ll be training all week and making sure I’m ready.
“I’ll be making sure I’m prepared right and ready if called upon to help my club and teammates, that’s all I care about now.”
Coady says he’s available this weekend
Lampard will be thrilled to hear Coady’s comments and be impressed by the player’s eagerness to get straight into the action at Goodison Park. Especially after Ben Godfrey suffered a serious injury against Chelsea on Saturday evening.
The Toffees fell to a 1-0 defeat against Lampard’s former side but there were some promising signs, despite not having a recognised striker in the team.
The English boss has already added James Tarkowski this summer on a free transfer as he looks to bolster his Everton defence and the pair could forge a brilliant partnership this season.
Coady mainly operated in a back-three at Wolves and it’s unclear whether Lampard will adjust his system at Goodison Park.

But the former Wolves captain is undoubtedly a brilliant signing for the club and should bring stability to what was a Everton defence last season.
It’s surprising that Bruno Lage has let his captain go, especially on loan, but Lampard will benefit from Wolves’ decision.
It will be interesting to see if Coady goes straight into the Everton side for their trip to Villa Park this weekend but the player could benefit from having a full week of training under Lampard ahead of the fixture.
