With West Ham reportedly eyeing Bamba, is Reid’s time finally up?
West Ham United are reportedly eyeing a move for Cardiff City defender Sol Bamba this January.
, Manuel Pellegrini is keeping tabs on the Ivory Coast international, as well as Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez and new Fulham boss Claudio Ranieri.
Bamba has been in good form for the Bluebirds this season.

He has been in the thick of the action with Cardiff having to do lots of defending against some frightening attacking talent in the Premier League.
He’s caught the eye for the newly promoted side, and now it looks as though he could be fought over next month.
With West Ham apparently wanting to snap him up, it could mean curtains for forgotten man Winston Reid.
Bamba in surely finishes Reid?
If the Irons successfully signed Bamba next month then it would be unsurprising to see Reid sold on by Pellegrini.
last season against Swansea City and he hasn’t played for the Hammers since.
A return date has not been set for the defender, although it’s anticipated it’d be some time in the New Year – if he isn’t sold beforehand.

That’s a real possibility though, with Reid having underwhelmed last term as the team shipped goals under Slaven Bilic and then David Moyes.
Bamba joining would surely see Reid leave after over seven years at the club, unless Issa Diop is cashed in on as suggested by Calciomercato – but that is surely unlikely given he only joined in the summer for £22 million.
