‘Winning the league’: Some Liverpool fans buzzing over ‘amazing’ update ahead of Brighton clash
A number of Liverpool fans have welcomed Jurgen Klopp’s fitness update on Reds midfielder Naby Keita.
The 26-year-old was taken off on a stretcher in the second half of last week’s 5-0 win at Manchester United following a lunge from Paul Pogba.
Thankfully, Liverpool assistant boss Pep Lijnders confirmed in midweek that Keita only suffered bruising from Pogba’s heavy tackle.

The Guinea international was then pictured in training for the Reds, and on Friday, Klopp said his player looked “ready” for Saturday.
“Naby Keita looks good,” he at his pre-match press conference ahead of the Brighton match.
“We were all surprised, but he was obviously lucky so I think he will be ready.”
Keita has taken a while to really hit form at Liverpool, but this season he has been superb for the Reds.
Indeed, he arguably delivered his best performance to date for the Anfield outfit last week.
Therefore, Klopp all-but confirming Keita is fine has gone down well with Liverpool fans:

Absolutely delighted to see Naby doing so well this season! Really starting to make his mark bringing goals and attacking intent from the midfield. Keep going Naby lad!

Amazing news. It would have been heartbreakingly unfair for him to be of again with injury just as he's getting back to form
