Jorginho has confirmed that he is leaving Arsenal this summer.
The Italy international joined the Gunners from Chelsea in January 2023. Not many Arsenal fans were pleased with the signing, but everyone fell in love with him after seeing him play.
Jorginho rarely ever made mistakes in the famous red and white, and he delivered almost every time he stepped onto the pitch.

William Saliba and other Arsenal stars react after Jorginho confirms he is leaving
Jorginho posted an emotional goodbye video on his Instagram on Tuesday.
The Italian confirmed that he will be leaving the club on a free transfer now, and he is expected to join Flamengo in Brazil.
Jorginho had decided to leave Arsenal as early as February – the Brazilian club had been pushing for a long time, and they have sealed the deal.
After seeing his farewell video, many Arsenal players took to Instagram to send their love to the number 20.
William Saliba wrote: “Thank you for everything brother!”
Gabriel Magalhaes said with crying emojis: “I love you my brother! I’m going to miss you every day!”
Declan Rice commented: “Pleasure to play with you brother!”
The player Arsenal wanted to sign before Jorginho
In the transfer window in which Arsenal signed Jorginho, the main target in midfield was Moises Caicedo, who was still at Brighton at the time.
Arsenal launched bids to sign Caicedo, but the Seagulls rejected their approach and made it clear that they will not sell him.
Time was running out, and Mikel Arteta decided to bring in Jorginho. That didn’t please many Arsenal fans, but the role he has played at the club since has completely changed people’s opinions of him.
Jorginho was not just an ‘‘ player, but the way he took the younger players in the squad under his wing and helped them would’ve really benefited them.
The Italian now leaves with the love and respect of Arsenal fans, which is just a testament to how he has proved everyone wrong during his time at the club.
