William Gallas hammers two Tottenham players on Instagram after Fulham draw

William Gallas has criticised two Tottenham Hotspur players on Instagram after failing to secure three points against struggling Fulham on Wednesday night – despite taking the lead through Harry Kane.

Spurs were expected to win and got off to the perfect start, as Sergio Reguilon’s inch-perfect cross was headed into the net past an inspired Alphonse Areola – off the post. Areola made numerous saves to keep Spurs at just one.

The on-loan PSG goalkeeper somehow denied Son Heung-min from close range, while Kane missed a header from inside the six-yard box that left the England skipper stunned at his own effort. Fulham capitalised.

But only after Scott Parker brought on Ademola Lookman. The winger crossed for Ivan Cavaleiro, who headed home and the scoreline remained the same. Gallas has criticised the centre-backs in the defending for Cavaleiro’s goal.

TBR’s view – Mourinho made strange team selection

Bringing Davinson Sanchez into the side alongside Eric Dier – over Toby Alderweireld – was a strange decision. Alderweireld has been excellent alongside Dier. So why the change? Did Spurs need a bit of pace at the back?

Alderweireld and Dier have been solid together, forming a brilliant partnership over the past couple of months. It is another reason why Spurs need a centre-back, or at least one to replace £42million () signing Sanchez.
