‘Will we see him again?’: Dean Ashton questions Liverpool’s Ozan Kabak already
Talksport pundit and former Premier League striker, Dean Ashton, has questioned whether Liverpool will even bother giving new signing Ozan Kabak another chance.
Kabak was given his first start in Liverpool colours this afternoon at Leicester. However, he was part of a Reds XI who capitulated in the second half, as the Foxes ran riot in six hectic minutes to run out 3-1 winners.
Jordan Henderson was the man alongside Kabak, with Fabinho out injured. However, speaking on , Ashton questioned whether Liverpool fans might ever see Kabak again after today.

“They’ve got to be better. But it’s not going to change. They’re not suddenly going to get Gomez or Van Dijk back. I mean, Kabak’s you new man. Are we ever going to see him again? Today was a tough day for him,” Ashton .
The Reds were rocked by a VAR decision that cost them before Alisson once again made a big error to gift Jamie Vardy the decisive third goal against the Foxes.
TBR View: Harsh to judge Kabak on one display, Liverpool collapsed as a collective
This is a tad harsh from Dean Ashton, although you can see where he is coming from.
Kabak has come straight in against one of the Premier League’s in-form teams, so it wasn’t always going to be plain sailing. And in fairness, he looked ok in the opening 45.
Unfortunately, he just succumbed like his teammates in the second 45. He’ll want to do better and can do better, so Liverpool shouldn’t down tools on their new man just yet.
