Will Lucas Perez come good at West Ham after brace?
West Ham fringe man Lucas Perez was the surprise hero in the 3-1 win over Cardiff City in midweek, as he came off the bench to score his first two Premier League goals of the season.
The 30-year-old is yet to start a league game this campaign for the Hammers and struggled for minutes since his arrival in the summer from Arsenal.
But he reminded everyone at the London Stadium of his qualities with a two-goal cameo and he also netted twice during the club’s run to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
So has the penny finally dropped for Perez at West Ham?

He can be successful if he shows great work-rate in attack and he’s got the left foot to be deadly in front of goal if given enough chances, which should be the case with creative wide men Felipe Anderson and Robert Snodgrass alongside him.
