Will Kieran Dowell follow same Everton route as Ademola Lookman?
Everton’s Kieran Dowell is impressing out on loan at Sheffield United this season and it will be interesting to see if he can feature under Marco Silva next year.
The 21-year-old has spent time with the promotion chasers in the Championship and has played 13 times so far in all competitions for them.
He is a highly-rated midfielder that usually plays in an advanced role behind the striker, but also showed for England’s Under-21s side that he’s got the qualities to drop deeper too.
Dowell is someone that has come through the academy ranks with the Toffees and many feel he could be next to break into the senior set-up.
But will he fall into the same trap as Ademola Lookman next year?

Lookman impressed on loan with German club RB Leipzig during the second half of the 2017/18 campaign and that has seen him stay with the first ream this season at Goodison Park.
The 21-year-old winger has played just 19 times all season across all competitions and struggled to make the impact on Merseyside he may have wanted.
It could be argued that an extended spell out on loan to improve his game may have been the better move, as he’s not quite getting the chances under Silva to express himself and justify his £11million () price tag.
Dowell needs to try ensure he doesn’t follow a similar path to become a fringe player at Everton next year and potentially another loan could be the smartest action, depending on Silva’s opinion of him.
