‘Will announce soon’: Fabrizio Romano claims Wolves are about to make a key signing

Wolves are parting company with Rui Patricio and bringing Jose Sa in as his replacement, to Fabrizio Romano.

Patricio has been linked with a departure from Molineux for a while now and it looks as though he’s finally making his move.

On Monday night, Romano claimed that Patricio was travelling to Rome to undergo a medical with Roma ahead of joining.

He looks set to become Jose Mourinho’s first signing at the Stadio Olimpico.

Romano then added that Wolves already have an agreement in place with Sa and will announce the Olympiacos man’s arrival soon.

According to the , Wolves have agreed a £10million deal to sell Patricio to Roma.

Meanwhile, Sa will reportedly join the Molineux outfit for £6.8million.

The 28-year-old joined the Greek giants in 2019 in a £2.5million deal from Porto.

This followed a successful loan spell in Athens.

Sa also lined up against Wolves in the first leg of their Europa League tie last year.

He has made the Portugal bench on numerous occasions, but remains uncapped.

The has also reported that Wolves are closing in on Hungary international Bendeguz Bolla.

The 21-year-old right-back, who currently plays for Ferhervar, will apparently go out on loan to Switzerland’s Grasshoppers.
