Why Jadon Sancho could reportedly stop Leeds and Leicester in race for £15m star

Leeds United and Leicester City have both been linked with moves for PSV Eindhoven talent Noni Madueke but they could miss out on the £15m-rated England Under-21 star – if Jadon Sancho leaves Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Madueke, 19, has thrown his name onto the radar of Premier League clubs ahead of the summer window after a brilliant campaign with Dutch side PSV – both domestically and in Europe. He has 17 goal involvements in 30 games.

Scoring nine, Madueke has also laid on eight assists. That form has seen him earn caps with England’s Under-21 side, less than three years since he made the brave and somewhat surprising move to swap Tottenham for PSV.

that Leicester are battling RB Leipzig and AC Milan in the race to sign Madueke, who is rated at £15million. Meanwhile, the Leeds and Bayern Munich also want the winger.

But Leeds and Leicester – among other sides – could miss out on Madueke this summer and that is because Dortmund have identified Madueke as Sancho’s ‘heir’ if the England ace leaves,

TBR’s view – Which club is best for Madueke this summer?

RB Leipzig and Milan are both renowned for giving plenty of faith to younger players – and with Jesse Marsch now installed at Leipzig, the German club will present Madueke with a really good chance of establishing himself.

But a return to England is likely to prove just as tempting with Leicester and Leeds keen. Both Brendan Rodgers and Marcelo Bielsa give plenty of chances to their younger players – but Madueke may find it harder to start.

Game time is more likely at Milan and Leipzig, especially with both clubs likely to be in Europe – but could that be enough to tempt him away from returning to his home country of England? Time will tell.
