Why Everton can help Tottenham finally bring in Dusan Vlahovic – TBR View
Tottenham continue to pursue Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic with reports suggesting a bid is on the table for the Serbian powerhouse. But new reports emerging from Italy could suggest that Everton might help Tottenham in landing Vlahovic – by sanctioning a deal for Moise Kean.
Vlahovic, 21, caught the eye after netting a supremely impressive 21 goals in Serie A football last season. Meanwhile, Tottenham need a striker – whether that is competition for Harry Kane or simply as cover for the England skipper. Vlahovic appears to be the man Tottenham want.
Tottenham have made a £59.5million double offer for Vlahovic and Nikola Milenkovic. But Fiorentina are unlikely to want to sell Vlahovic until they have brought in a replacement for their star striker.
Why Everton can help Tottenham sign Vlahovic – with Kean
Kean, also 21, enjoyed a brilliant season on loan at Paris Saint-Germain last season. Despite PSG failing to win Ligue 1 or the Champions League, he scored 17 goals in 41 appearances. But the Italy international has not been signed permanently, returning to Everton. He was missing on Saturday.
The former Juventus striker is likely to leave Everton this month. Fiorentina are keen to bring him in, potentially as a replacement for Vlahovic. So, if Everton allow Fiorentina to sign Kean – that will mean Fiorentina have a replacement and will allow Tottenham to strike a deal for Vlahovic.
