Why Arsenal keeper Aaron Ramsdale has unwittingly annoyed Kyle Walker
Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has found himself in the proverbial crossfire between Kyle Walker and Phil Foden.
The Gunners stopper is a regular in the England setup, having been in the squad ⛦for Euro 2020, the 2022 World Cup, and Euro 2024.
Likewise, Manchester City duo Walker and Foden are firmly in the Three Lions picture, so they come into contact with Ramsdale a fair bit on international duty.
On Wednesday, England’s official YouTube channel posted🌸 a video of the Three Lions midfielder ranking listing the best two-touch players in the nation’s setup.
The Arsenal goalkeeper was ranked D alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold, while💛 Walker was placed on the E 𝔍list alongside Kieran Trippier.

Kyle Walker not happy Aaron Ramsdale is above him in two-touch chart

“Oh my good gosh,” said the veteran defender. “W🐓hoa, stop. I’ve seen Aaron Ramsdꩲale above me!
“Nah, not one bit, not one bit am I hꦅavin✃g Aaron Ramsdale above me!”
Walker went on to explain how he’s “surprisingly quite good” at two-touch, as he plays it continꦑuously at City.
What did Foden say about Ramsdale?
Fod﷽en said it was “difficult” to rank Ramsdale “because he’s a keeper, their job😼’s not to play two touch.”
However, he was eager to sing the Arsenal man’s praises, adding: “Obviously now you have to𒆙 be technicallꦿy very good as well from the back.
“So I ඣfeel like Rammers, when he gets involved with two-touch, he’s very good as well.
“I’m going to ha🙈ve to put him in D though because I’ve got to think about other players.”
What did Foden say about Walker?
Foden stressed that it wasn’t “personal” and that his t♛eammate’s ranking on the E list is “just the way this list has gone”.
Th𒁃e midfielder said: “He’s going to hate me for this…
“He’s someone who alwa🔴ys wants to get the two-touch going, get the ball, and get us going, and yeahꦡ he’s a leader, as a captain…
“But unfortunately, just the way this list has gone… sorry Walks, don’t take it personal plea﷽se Kyle!”
