Which Joe Worrall is going to turn up for Rangers against Hearts?

Rangers host league leaders Hearts on Sunday afternoon at Ibrox and would love to try claw back some of the eight-point deficit to them at the early stage of the season.

Steven Gerrard’s side go into the match on the back of an impressive 3-1 win over Rapid Vienna on Thursday night in the Europa League group stages.

They will now be keen to replicate some of their European form in domestic matches and will need to be at their best to pick up three points against in-form Hearts.

One player in contention to start for the Gers is defender Joe Worrall, who is on loan from Nottingham Forest and has managed to force his way into the starting XI recently.

But which version of the 21-year-old will Gerrard get if he starts against Hearts?

The ball-playing centre-back has already delivered a mixed bag during his brief time with the Scottish giants, with his performance dreadful at times in the league defeat to Livingston last weekend.

However, he managed to bounce back on Thursday and defended heroically in the victory against Austrian outfit Rapid Vienna.

Worrall is still very much still settling down and improving every game, but Rangers can’t afford for him to have an off day against Hearts.
