Whether West Ham will submit a new Ricardo Pepi bid after £21m offer rejected with three others in sight
TBR Football have now received information on whether West Ham will make a new bid for PSV Eindhoven No.14 Ricardo Pepi.
The Hammers saw a €25m (£20.9m) offer rejected by the Dutch side shortly after their 3-2 win over Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
West Ham had proposed an initial loan move with an obligatory summer purchase option for the United States international.
Graham Potter is desperate for a new striker to arrive at the London Stadium ahead of the February 3rd transfer deadline – after the Irons lost Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen and Niclas Fullkrug to serious injuries.
Now, sources have told TBR Football whether West Ham intend to submit an improved bid for Ricardo Pepi before Monday – with three other strikers on the club’s radar.
West Ham expected to give up on Ricardo Pepi
Graeme Bailey – Chief Correspondent at TBR Football – has now been informed that West Ham do not plan to make another bid for the man born in Texas.
We understand Pepi himself is not eager to move clubs at this moment in time, and is very happy with life in Eindhoven.
The 22-year-old has only just got his career back on track following a tough spell with Augsburg, where he failed to score in 16 appearances, so will choose his next move wisely, with a mid-season switch very unlikely to materialise before Monday.
TBR Football understand West Ham are not only looking at Pepi as we approach the transfer deadline, however.

Sources close to the situation claim that West Ham remain in talks with several strikers, and it cannot be ruled out that two centre-forwards arrive at the London Stadium.
TBR Football have been told discussions with Ajax over Brian Brobbey are ongoing – as are talks with RB Leipzig for Andre Silva – although Brighton No.28 Evan Ferguson is the No.1 target.
West Ham have also been offered Noah Okafor and like Marcus Rashford
The Switzerland international is not exactly a traditional No.9 like the aforementioned names, but TBR Football understand West Ham have been offered Noah Okafor after his move from AC Milan to RB Leipzig broke down.
8 – Ricardo Pepi has scored at least one goal in all eight of his starts across all competitions for PSV this season, totaling 14 goals in those games. Clockwork.

Sources have also told us West Ham admire Marcus Rashford – who Manchester United are still yet to offload – although Barcelona are also an option for the England international on loan.
