When Bukayo Saka is now expected to return for Arsenal in wake of Kai Havertz injury
Arsenal are now in the midst of a crisis up front after it was confirmed that Kai Havertz would be out for the rest of the season.
Havertz suffered a hamstring injury during Arsenal’s warm-weather training camp in Dubai which will require surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation period.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is now without Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka due to injury.
However, in recent days, Saka was photographed taking part in rehabilitation drills at Arsenal’s camp in Dubai.
This suggests Saka is making good progress in his recovery, leading to suggestions that Arsenal could potentially up the ante on his rehabilitation.
A report has now emerged regarding Arsenal’s stance towards potentially fast-tracking Saka’s injury return.

Arsenal unwilling to rush Bukayo Saka back and could even delay his return until April
Arsenal have ruled out the prospect of rushing Saka back despite their injury crisis up front, according to .
The Gunners are said to be reluctant to bring Saka back until he is fully ready, given how important his injured right leg is to his style of play.
Indeed, Arsenal may now hold back on Saka further, with suggesting his return may be delayed from March to April to make sure he’s fully fit.
This would see Saka spent a total of four months on the lines since undergoing hamstring surgery in December.
What Arsenal could do in absence of star forwards
Leandro Trossard, Raheem Sterling and Ethan Nwaneri are currently the only forward players available to Arteta.
Arteta might turn to one of his defenders to feature up front in wake of Havertz’s hamstring injury, TBR Football understands.
William Saliba was a prolific striker at youth level, making him one of the top candidates to play as an auxiliary striker.
TBR Football sources have also confirmed that Arsenal will not look to sign any free agents despite being so short of numbers in attack.
This is despite Carlos Vela appearing to be a fairly popular option among Arsenal fans as a last resort.
Arsenal’s academy has some top forwards Arteta could call upon, such as Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, Khayon Edwards and Andre Harriman-Annous.
