Tottenham Hotspur ended their pre-season with a defeat to Barcelona last night, and Xavi was spotted sharing a lovely moment with Heung-min Son after the game.
Ange Postecoglou made plenty of changes to his side at the Camp Nou yesterday. A few of his key stars, like Harry Kane, didn’t even travel, which meant Spurs had to field a much weaker side than they otherwise would have. Tottenham ended up losing 4-2 in the end after two very late goals from the hosts.
Fans on social media noticed what Xavi and Son did after the game.

Almost everybody loves Tottenham’s Heung-min Son, don’t they?
The South Korean is a fantastic player on the pitch, and he seems to be a lovely guy off it as well. He gets along with almost everybody – be it a teammate or a rival.
Just a few days ago, Manchester City defender how he had become friends with Son after getting to know him.
Now, it looks like Xavi has made a new pal as well.
The Barcelona boss just shook everyone’s hand after the game yesterday, but when he spotted Son, he gave him a big hug.
The two chatted for a little while as well before going their separate ways.
Barca were linked with a move to sign Son
Son is a brilliant footballer and he’d be a great signing for most clubs in the world.
claimed back in March this year that Xavi’s Barcelona, who won La Liga last season, were keen to sign the Tottenham number seven this summer.
Clearly, no move materialised, and Son is all set to stay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for at least another year.
Perhaps Xavi and Son were speaking about the move that never happened when they embraced last night. Or maybe, they were just talking about the weather. We have no idea!
