What Tottenham insiders are now saying about the club’s dressing room this season
Journalist Alasdair Gold has now provided an insight into the atmosphere in Tottenham Hotspur’s dressing room this season.
Appointing Ange Postecoglou has obviously proved to be a transformational move for Spurs, firmly dispelling the sour taste from Antonio Conte’s final season.

Tottenham fans haven’t had a project or a team to be excited about for some time, and that lack of optimism must have been felt by the players too.
In truth, that feeling probably led to Harry Kane’s exit to Bayern Munich in the summer, even if he may have had second thoughts after briefly working with Postecoglou.
But this new Tottenham have a different ethos on the pitch, they have an ambition to win games playing attractive football.
Postecoglou’s Spurs are pragmatic, but they’re also sufficiently focused on their own ability and potential.
That being said, Alasdair Gold has now been providing some insight into how the dressing room atmosphere has changed at Tottenham this season.
Gold shared a report on detailing how those inside the club believe this is the tightest-knit group they’ve have had in years.
Son Heung-min is crucial to Tottenham’s dressing room this season
The report explained how Postecoglou has entrusted his captain, Son Heung-min and the senior figures among the group to self-govern the dressing room.
And that plan has worked, Spurs have no cliques or divisions in their group – which has been evident on the pitch.

As well as the vice-captains Cristian Romero and James Maddison, Guglielmo Vicario, Yves Bissouma and Fraser Forster have been named as players taking a key role.
Of course, this must be incredibly encouraging to hear from a Tottenham fan point of view, there’s barely a bad sound coming out of the club or the dressing room this season.
Postecoglou clearly does have a squad that is only pulling in one direction, and they’re doing it harmoniously.
That being said, it will be crucial to choose the right personalities and players in the coming summer to continue the club’s rebuild.
And to that end, Fabrizio Romano has explained that Spurs still have interest in an ‘outstanding’ midfielder this summer.
