What Tottenham have decided they will do with Ashley Phillips and Jamie Donley this season
Tottenham Hotspur’s summer business has largely revolved around player exits rather than players coming through the doors.
Up to now, Tottenham have seen 11 players make their departure from north London through one means or another.
Ange Postecoglou has been willing to sanction some player loans with some of his players requiring more minutes than what he is able to provide.
But there have been some youngsters who have been offered a big opportunity to prove themselves during this summer’s pre-season tour.
The likes of Mikey Moore have really impressed Postecoglou this summer ahead of the start of the new campaign.
However, a decision is now needing to be made on some of the other young talents in Tottenham’s ranks.

Tottenham make decision on Jamie Donley and Ashley Phillips’ futures
Tottenham have some serious exciting young talent coming through their ranks and have also acquired some talented youngsters in recent years.
The likes of Lucas Bergvall have arrived at Tottenham this summer and impressed as he looks like a natural in the first team squad.
According to the , Tottenham have now made a decision on the future of Jamie Donley, Ashley Phillips and Alfie Devine.

The three youngsters are now expected to depart the club on respective loan moves to help continue their development.
Phillips and Devine have already spent last season out on loan with the pair both ending up at Plymouth Argyle over the second half of the campaign.
But it will be a first for Donley who has really impressed Tottenham’s Destiny Udogie this summer.

As well as impressing Udogie, Donley has also really made a name for himself as one of the really exciting youngsters in English football.
The 2023/24 campaign was one that saw Donley establish himself as above the level on offer in the U21s having returned five goals and 12 assists in the Premier League 2 alone.
Donley has already admitted he could leave Tottenham on loan this summer when speaking to the media on the pre-season tour of Asia.
And he is not going to be short of options with teams from the Championship having been keen to bring Donley in all summer.
