Gallagher has been viewed by Chelsea as a sellable asset becܫause ✤the money they get for him can be declared as pure profit in their books.

Tottenham’s stance on Conor Gallagher after Atletico Madrid’s bid

Gallagher has been on Tottenham’s radar since Ange Postecoglou became their manager.

Spurs tried to sign the England midfielder ꦍi♍n each of the last two transfer windows, but their attempts failed to materialise.

Reports have claimed that Chelsea are expec⛦ting a bid from Tottenham🌌 for Gallagher♏ in the coming🐬 days. However, an offer from a different club has already arrived.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that๊ Atletico Madrid and Chelsea are close to reaching an agreement for Gallagher this summer (), but there is one problem.

The playe﷽r has not agreed to move to Spain at this moment in time, which opens the door for other clubs to make a move to sign him.

However, if Ben Jacobs is to be believed, Spurs won’t be tryin🔴g their luck.

The journalist has revealed that a new midfiel𓆏der is not the priority for Tottenham at the m🔥oment, and they are fully expecting Gallagher to move to Atletico Madrid.

Jacobs tweeted: “No imminent bid for Conor Gallagher expected from Sp𝓰urs. A player of interest for a ♐while, but understand midfield not a priority position to strengthen.

“Spurs expect Gallagher to join Atletico and CFC prefer to sell to a non-EPL rival. Gallagher hasn’t decided any🌜thing yet.🐻”

Should Tottenham change their mind about Gallagher?

Gallagher has been on Tottenham’s radar for a long ti🌳me, so it is a surprise to learn that they are not going to make a move to 🍷sign him.

Howe🧸ver, Spurs are right to stay away from Gallagher.

Don’t get us wrong, the Chelsea star is a bꦰrilliant ꧒player, but Tottenham don’t really need a new midfielder in this summer’s transfer window.

Postecoglou already had Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr, Rodrigo Bentancur, James Maddison and Oliver Skipp in the middle of the park.ඣ Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall have now been added to the mix.

As good as Gallagher is, we don’t think he would get into Tottenham’s starting lineup, which is why Spurs are right to🌺 a💜bandon their pursuit.

Postecoglou’s priority signing now has to be a striker. We 🌌think they will definitely try to sign a new number nine before the window shuts.
