What sources are now saying about Luis Diaz future as Liverpool forward emerges as Saudi Pro League target along with Darwin Nunez
TBR Football can exclusively confirm what sources are saying about the future of Liverpool forward Luis Diaz amid interest from the Saudi Pro League.
Liverpool have dealt a double blow to the Saudi Pro League as targets Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk have now signed new contracts at Anfield.
However, there are other Liverpool players in the sights of the league as they look to bring more football superstars to Saudi Arabia.
Darwin Nunez has long been in their sights, and now Diaz is also a target, and sources have now revealed what the latter’s stance is on a move.

Luis Diaz wants new Liverpool contract but is open to Saudi Pro League move like Darwin Nunez
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has been informed that the Saudi Pro League are ready to make a double move on Liverpool’s forward line this summer.
Liverpool have long accepted that Nunez is a likely departure this summer.
A number of European clubs have shown an interest in the Uruguayan, but Liverpool want to get back as much of their club record £85million they have paid out for the Uruguayan star.
Nunez is understood to be open to the prospect of the Pro League, but he is not the only one as Diaz is emerging as an option.
As TBR Football has previously confirmed, Diaz wants a new deal from Liverpool, sooner rather than later.
The Colombian’s constant demands for a new contract have been heard by Anfield bosses and they are open to discussing fresh terms this summer.
However, the Pro League are ready to tempt them into a sale and TBR Football is told that Diaz, like Nunez, would be open to move to the Middle East.
Other clubs who are after Luis Diaz
Diaz has made 45 appearances and impressed during Arne Slot’s first season at Liverpool.
Slot was immediately impressed by Diaz at Liverpool shortly after the Dutchman arrived at Anfield.
The Colombia international has scored 15 goals and provided five assists under his tutelage.
However, the 28-year-old will only have one year left on his contract in the summer.
TBR Football previously revealed that Diaz’s camp has told Liverpool they will seek an exit this summer if a new contract offer does not materialise.
As well as the Saudi Pro League, the likes of Barcelona have also been circling around Diaz, along with clubs in Italy’s Serie A.
Now that Liverpool have addressed the urgent priorities – Salah and Van Dijk – attention will surely turn to those whose contracts expire in the next year or two.
