What Richarlison was spotted doing to Neal Maupay after Tottenham scored their first goal last night
In all of the shenanigans between Neal Maupay and the Tottenham Hotspur players last night, a Richarlison moment may have been missed.
Ange Postecoglou’s side did initially start the game well, but were quickly unsettled by Brentford’s game plan.
Ivan Toney was combining well with Maupay to cause Spurs’ back line a lot of distress, and they were perhaps a little lucky not to be more than 1-0 down at half time.
However, Brennan Johnson lifted the lid on Postecoglou’s calming words at the break, which quickly got his side back on track.
And after Destiny Udogie put his side level, Richarlison saw a chance to get one back at Maupay after he mocked his Tottenham teammate.
Maupay performed James Maddison’s famous darts celebration, which Richarlison did not enjoy.

Richarlison’s reaction to Maupay’s antics could be seen during ‘ live coverage of the Tottenham game.
When running back to his own half with the ball to inspire a quick kick off after the goal, Richarlison passed Maupay in the centre-circle.
The Brazilian proceeded to scream in Maupay’s face as he ran past, seeming to let him know that his actions hadn’t gone unnoticed.
And from there, well, the rest was history.
Tottenham got the job done, winning 3-2 and collecting the three points.
And although that game is now done and dusted, Spurs could still have business to do on deadline day today.
