The Independent add that Ratcliffe has shown a willingness to wait, but a decision has now allegedly been made on the 54-year-old and he will be sacked.
Alternatives to Julian Nagelsmann
As aforesaid, Ratcliffe is becoming increasingly more keen to hire Nagelsmann.
However, if the German signs a new contract with the Germany National Team after UEFA EURO 2024 this summer, other options will – of course – have to be explored.
One alternative to Nagelsmann is Gareth Southgate – who believe is on the shortlist alongside Roberto De Zerbi.

The believe Ruben Amorim of Sporting CP is another option – although the man from Lisbon is apparently already holding talks with Liverpool about replacing Jurgen Klopp.
