What people inside Liverpool are saying about Takefusa Kubo after recent links

Liverpool have been linked with a number of new attacking players this summer as they potentially plan for life without Mohamed Salah.

The Egyptian is entering the final year of his Liverpool contract, and he could be on the move next summer.

Liverpool, therefore, potentially need to find a replacement, and one player who has been linked is Takefusa Kubo.

The Japanese winger is said to be someone Liverpool are keen on, and according to some reports a deal for Kubo to join Liverpool is close.

However, speaking on Anfield Agenda, David Lynch has poured coldᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ water on this story.

Indeed, the journalist says that after checking with his sources at Liverpool, he’s been made to feel that Kubo won’t actually be a target this summer, claimi💙ng there is no truth to these rumours that Kubo is Anfiel🌌d-bound.

Takefusa Kubo not coming to Liverpool

Lynch shared what he’s been told about Kubo.

“Yeah, so Kubo, I got a very cold reception on this when I checked in with sources at ♋Liverpool. It doesn’t look to me like he will be a target. There is certainly no truth to those reports that a deal is close to being agreed or anything like that. Maybe someone👍 Liverpool have looked at, but absolutely no truth that a deal is close, so take those ones with a pinch of salt,” Lynch said.

Liverpool need to hurry up

This is ♏yet another rumour that has been shot down by Liverpool, and it’s getting to the point that this is becoming frustrating.

After Ryan Sessegnon’s move to Fulham, Liverp💞ool are now the only team in the Premier League who haven’t made a signing.

Of course, the Reds’ squad doesn’t necessarily need major surgery, but they could do with a few more bodie▨s to bolster the squad and usher in this new era under Arne Slot.
