What ‘most’ of Arsenal stadium crowd chanted at Southampton’s Aaron Ramsdale
On Saturday, Arsenal welcomed Aaron Ramsdale back to the Emirates Stadium for the first time since the goalkeeper’s move to Southampton this summer.
The England international was the Gunners’ number one for two years,🍰 making 89 appearances in all competitions for Mikel Arteta’s side.
However, Ramsdale lost his first-team place to David Raya last season, and he duly completed a move from Arsenal to the Saints over the summer.
The 26-year-old became Southampton’s first-choice k෴eeper from🐭 the off, having made five Premier League appearances for the newly-promoted side.
Ramsdale di🏅dn’t have to wait long to renew acquaintances with his former teammates at the Emirates Stadium, as Southampton headed to N5 for Saturday’s 3pm kick-off.
The Three Lions ace gave a good ac🅷count of himself and couldn’t do much about the goals Arsenal scored against him.

Walker said on : “A nice moment as thꦚe away end chorus of ‘England’s number one’ towards Aaron Ramsdale extends around most of the ground.
“An unhappy return🍬 for the goalkeeper, but not for anything on his behalf.”
At the end of the game, Ramsdale embraced former colleagues Davi🔜d R༺aya and Mikel Arteta before getting a standing ovation from the Clock End for giving his shirt to a young Southampton fan.
How Arsenal fared in their 3-1 win over Southampton
Arsenal fell behind to ♏Cameron Archer’s 55th-minute goal, but they equalised just three minutes later through the in-f𒐪orm Kai Havertz.
Gabriel Martinelli then came off the bench to put Arsenal ahead in the🌱 68th minute before Bukayo Saka made sure of all three points in the 88th miꦉnute of the match.

The international break sees domestic football grind to a halt, after which Arsenal take on another south coast side 💝in Bournemouth.
The Gunners face the Cherries away in a Premier🔯 League game scheduled to kick off at 5:30pm on Saturday 19 October.
