‘What I’ve seen’: TalkSPORT pundit says Everton attacker looks so uncomfortable when he’s shooting right now

It’s been a tough start to the season for Everton, picking up just a single point from their first three games, and only scoring two league goals.

Frank Lampard’s attacking options have been limited due to transfers and injuries.

“I know you’re not happy with him, and from what I’ve seen with Rondon is he snatches at chances.

“When he gets a chance, he doesn’t look comfortable, he doesn’t look like someone who’s going to put the ball in the net.”

O’Hara thinks Rondon is struggling in front of goal

Former Everton manager Rafa Benitez brought Rondon to Goodison Park last summer on a free transfer from Dalian Professional in China.

Benitez and Rondon enjoyed a brilliant relationship while at Newcastle, .

However, Rondon has always played second fiddle to Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison before his move to Tottenham.

The 32-year-old started just eight games last season, scoring a single goal against Crystal Palace.

He started his first game of the season against Nottingham Forest at the weekend, but Lampard gave him less than an hour after he failed to land a shot on target.

Lampard had previously given Anthony Gordon the opportunity to start through the middle, but the winger was allowed to play in his more natural position.

The Chelsea and Tottenham-linked winger faces an uncertain future, and this could afford Rondon more opportunities to break his duck unless Everton can bring in another forward.

The Toffees are looking at reinforcements, and have been told they’ll need to pay £25m to bring in one forward from a Premier League rival.
