What intermediaries have told Chelsea as they consider paying £70m for Alejandro Garnacho with Man United exit possible
Manchester United are refusing to rule out the prospect of Alejandro Garnacho leaving Old Trafford before Monday’s transfer deadline, sources have confirmed to TBR Football.
Garnacho is among a number of players facing an uncertain future at Old Trafford under the new regime.
TBR Football has previously revealed that Garnacho had become unsettled with life under Ruben Amorim but he has figured prominently in recent weeks.
However, Garnacho’s situation has seen interest emerge in his signature and we are told that United will not stand in his way if an appropriate offer does come in and he insists on moving.

What Chelsea have been told as Alejandro Garnacho exit from Man United now likely
TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey can reveal that United would want a deal in excess of £70million and it is believed that Chelsea are considering making a late move for the young Argentine and they could meet the asking price.
Chelsea have discussed internally making a move for Garnacho and they have been informed by intermediaries that he would be willing to move to West London.

TBR Football understands that a move back to Spain is Garnacho’s long-term ambition, but it is unlikely that he would be able to turn down an offer from Chelsea – if they did make a move in the final days of the window.
We are told that Napoli, who had previously shown an interest – have moved on from Garnacho as they would be not willing to bid more than £50million for him
Why Gary Neville is baffled by talk of Garnacho exit to Chelsea
It seems an odd move from United to let an academy player move on but with PSR rife in the game and Garnacho not exactly flavour of the month under Ruben Amorim, £70m gives the club plenty of wiggle room.
United have been linked with taking Christopher Nkunku in return for Garnacho but that suggestion has left Gary Neville baffled.
“I don’t get it for United. Nkunku’s hardly kicked a ball, he’s had the injury when he first came and struggled to get going at Chelsea,” Neville said on the swap proposal.
“I’m not saying Garnacho is the best player in the world, he needs to stay at Manchester United, but if they get good money for him that might work.
“But to swap him for Nkunku, I would have to say that isn’t a move I would do if I was Manchester United. I can see why you would do it if you were Chelsea.”
With just days of the window remaining, Chelsea could well be the big winners in any deal here.
