What has happened to Kieran Trippier’s private box at Newcastle United after links with West Ham
There has now been an interesting development involving Kieran Trippier after the Newcastle No.2 was linked with a move to West Ham.
West Ham are said to be very keen on signing Trippier – according to the – with the England international on Tim Steidten’s radar at the London Stadium.
So, what is the latest on Kieran Trippier at Newcastle as West Ham show interest? Let’s take a look…
Kieran Trippier loses private box at Newcastle amid West Ham rumours
Joel Bland has now revealed that the 33-year-old has seen his name removed from his private box at St James’ Park, which suggests he is on the verge of leaving Newcastle.
Trippier strangely featured in the 1-1 draw between Newcastle’s U21 side and Sunderland’s U21s on Monday night after being left on the bench by Eddie Howe in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Southampton.
That was said to be a personal choice from the right-back, so he may be keen to keep his fitness levels high ahead of his next move.

Trippier has also just been replaced as team captain on a permanent basis by Bruno Guimaraes, another strong indication that the man from Bury is close to leaving the Magpies.
The England international only has 11 months remaining on his contract, so if Newcastle fail to sell him this summer, they risk losing their man for nothing in 2025.
Julen Lopetegui may have moved on
When the Telegraph’s story first broke, West Ham were yet to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka and were facing difficulty in luring the Londoner away from Manchester United.

However, that £15m deal has since gone through, so while Julen Lopetegui may not be averse to still signing a player of Trippier’s experience in a bargain deal, it is also possible that West Ham no longer want a new right-back.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as the defender appears to be moving somewhere as we enter the final days of the summer transfer window.
