What Federico Chiesa was spotted pointing out about Old Trafford while he sat in stands watching Liverpool beat Man United

Liverpool picked up their third win on the trot as they convincingly beat Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford.

Luis Diaz scored a terrific brace before Mohamed Salah stroked home the third just before the hour mark in what was a complete away performance.

After his impressive start to the campaign, Diaz is pushing to sign a new Liverpool contract and Arne Slot is happy to green-light the deal

Federico Chiesa spotted Manchester United’s leaking roof at Old Trafford

Chiesa completed a late switch from Juventus to Liverpool last month and attended the game at Old Trafford yesterday.

Liverpool’s X account posted a video of him from the stands and many think he was pointing at the leaking roof as the rain fell down.

United’s stadium has been a topic of conversation over the last few years as supporters urge for a complete revamp.

Old Trafford’s deterioration has become symbolic of the performances on the pitch since Sir Alex Ferguson left in 2013.

Federico Chiesa could make Liverpool debut vs Nottingham Forest

Chiesa will have to wait until after the international break to make his Liverpool debut with Slot’s side next in action on September 14th against Nottingham Forest.

The Italian wide player will be competing against Diaz for the left-wing position, so he’ll likely have to take his opportunity from the bench.
