What Federico Chiesa has decided after his agent holds meeting with Arsenal and Tottenham

The future of Federico Chiesa is perhaps one of the most interesting sagas this summer with both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur keen.

Having seen Thiago Motta appointed this summer as the new manager of Juventus, the Italian has quickly asserted his position in Turin.

Chiesa has now been informed that he is not part of the plans at Juventus with Motta admitting as much over the weekend.

Both Arsenal and Tottenham are believed to be showing an interest in Chiesa this summer as the winger looks for a new club.

However, the Italy international may have now made up his mind on which club he’d prefer to sign for.

Tottenham and Arsenal target has decided something about his future

Spurs are still looking to make some considerable additions to their squad over the coming weeks.

The same can be said for Arsenal with neither of these sides really making any improvements to their starting XI in an attacking sense.

Tottenham find themselves in the market for Dominic Solanke whilst Arsenal are seeking out a move for Viktor Gyokeres.

And the north London rivals find themselves battling over another forward who looks set to move this summer.

According to , Chiesa has now decided he would like to make a move to a club where he would continue playing in the Champions League.

The 26-year-old’s future looks set to be away from Turin but whether he can land himself a move to the Premier League will have to be seen.

Chiesa’s agents have been in touch with Arsenal and Tottenham this summer as they look to work their client with a move away from Juve.

But Chiesa is not said to be in any hurry to make his decision with a year still on his contract in Turin.

Tottenham issued Federico Chiesa setback

With the winger looking for a Champions League club, this would immediately rule out a potential move to Tottenham.

Postecoglou has already spoken about his belief in only signing players who absolutely want to come to Spurs despite their lack of Champions League football.

“I don’t want those players. That’s a beautiful discussion for me to have. That’s one of the discussions I have: Why do you want to come to Tottenham?” Postecoglou previously told .

“Because if you want Champions League football and that’s all you want, you don’t want to come to Tottenham; you just want to go to a Champions League club.”

With only Europa League football on offer this season, it seems Spurs may not even be in Chiesa’s thinking this summer.
