What Eric Dier told journalist about Harry Kane on his way out of Tottenham ahead of Bayern move
Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier is set to complete a move to Bayern Munich and has been spotted at the airport as he heads to Germany.
Eric Dier emerged as Bayern’s top centre-back target yesterday after the Bundesliga giants missed out on a move for Radu Dragusin to Spurs.
The 29-year-old has barely featured under Ange Postecoglou this term, managing just🎉 four appearances in the league.
Now, Bayern have wrapped up a deal to sign the Englishman and he will undergo his medical in Munich today.
Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg caught up with Dier on his way to Munich and asked him about linking up with his former Spurs teammate Harry Kane.

What Dier said about Kane as he nears Bayern switch
Plettenberg 🥂posted a video of Dier at the airp🅺ort on and the Spurs man admitted he’s excited to be joining an ‘amazing’ club like Bayern.
The journalist asked: “Are you♍ lookin🦂g forward to playing for Bayern?
“Very much. Very much,” Dier responded.
Plettenberg added: “L🐻ooking forward to meeting Harry Kane?”
“Yes, again,” Dier joked.
And when quizzed on why he’s chosen to join Bayern, Dier added: “ไAmazing club. Amazing.”

Should e💮verything go according to plan today, Dier will link up with Kane in Munich.
The Englishman joined Spurs way back in 2014 and has been an🌟 excel꧂lent servant to the club.
Despite receiving heavy criticism over the past few years due to a dip in form, the defender was an integral part of arguably Tottenham’s best side of the Premier League er༒a under Mauricio Pochettino.
But it’s clear that he doesn’t feature in Postecoglou’s plans moving forward and a move seems fo🦩r the best for all parties involved.
Dier’s contract is also set to expire in the summer but Spurs will now pick up a small fee for tﷺhe defender.
