What Eberechi Eze has just told his close friends about leaving Crystal Palace for Arsenal
Eberechi Eze has now made it clear that he expects to leave Crystal Palace for Arsenal this summer, TBR Football can exclusively reveal.
After winning the FA Cup with Crystal Palace last season, Eberechi Eze has now been linked with a host of the club’s London rivals.
Earlier in the summer, Tottenham were keen to sign Eze, however, Daniel Levy’s side ultimately opted for Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United instead.
Now, if Eze does leave Palace, Arsenal are expected to be the club pushing hardest for his signature, even if the Gunners are focused on completing other deals right now.
TBR Football recently confirmed that Arsenal are close to signing Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP, a transfer saga that has captivated fans in north London.

That being said, chief correspondent Graeme Bailey now understands that Eze has told ‘friends’ that he’s going to join Arsenal this summer.
Arsenal remain keen on signing the England international, but their decision on which forward to sign after Gyokeres is yet to be finalised.

However, Arsenal have now held discussions with Palace and Eze about a move — a serious option for the Gunners moving forward.
Of course, Arsenal are also interested in Rodrygo from Real Madrid, a saga that might go long into the summer.
TBR Football recently shared that Liverpool have joined the race to sign Rodrygo — Arne Slot’s side have now held talks with the Brazilian’s camp.
And whilst it’s not as simple as Arsenal choosing between Eze or Rodrygo, the north Londoners are unlikely to sign both.
Arsenal have been talking to Eze’s camp all summer long
Adding further insight into the situation, Bailey believes that there’s a strong possibility that Eze will be playing his football at the Emirates next season.
He said: “I am told that Eze remains firmly on Arsenal’s radar and they have done plenty of work on him — there is a very good chance that Eze will be an Arsenal player before the end of August.
“Arsenal have maintained contact with Eze’s people throughout the summer.”
Of course, Palace fans will loathe the prospect of their mercurial number 10 leaving, a player who’s taken his game one step further under Oliver Glasner.
It’s understood that Palace would be very reluctant to lose Marc Guehi and Eze in the same summer.
And whilst Guehi is admired by Liverpool, there’s a good chance that the English defender will stay at Selhurst Park for one more year before his contract expires next summer, when he can then fully assess his options.
