A report has shared what Conor Gallagher has made clear to Chelsea with Tottenham Hotspur now eyeing a move for the midfielder.
Conor Gallagher looks to be a potential contender to leave Stamford Bridge in this window. The midfielder has now entered the final 18 months of his contract with Chelsea. And it seems that the Blues would be open to cashing in on the 23-year-old.
Ange Postecoglou would love to sign Gallagher for Tottenham. Of course, Spurs are set to lose both Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr, with the pair set to be involved at AFCON 2023 if fit.

In fact, the Daily Mirror is reporting that Gallagher has made it clear to the Chelsea hierarchy that he would like to sign a new contract with the Blues.
Blues may feel that they do not have much choice
Unfortunately, Chelsea have been really disappointing since the new owners came in. And thus, it is hard to imagine that they are going to receive a raft of significant offers for their players.
So if they do need to sell someone and Gallagher is wanted by Tottenham, then the club’s hierarchy may feel that they have little choice.
It offers a fantastic opportunity to Spurs. Gallagher is a ‘‘ player and would have the potential to be outstanding in Ange Postecoglou’s system.
But clearly, the club need the midfielder to change his stance somewhat if a move is going to become possible.
