What Bayern Munich have told Mathys Tel after his camp encourage Arsenal to sign him on deadline day
TBR Football understands that Bayern Munich have informed Mathys Tel that they will not sanction a deal with Arsenal or Manchester United unless they are happy with the offers.
Manchester United have already found out that is the case after failing to reach an agreement with the Bavarians for the winger over the weekend.
Elsewhere, Tottenham had a £60m bid accepted by Bayern for Tel but the player decided to reject the move.
Arsenal have been preparing a move for Tel ahead of the transfer deadline and have now been given the green light by the player’s camp to make their offer to Bayern Munich.

Arsenal are ready to make Mathys Tel move
Mathys Tel is keen to move to Arsenal, insisting that he never discounted a move to the Emirates despite talks with Manchester United, sources have told TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey.
United at this point have been unable to agree on terms with Bayern Munich – but TBR Football has told the Red Devils still can’t be discounted from a deal.
Following talks with Bayern over the weekend, Tel has made it clear that he wants to explore the chance to leave the club and that is the case running into the deadline day.
However, Bayern have made it clear to Tel they won’t consider a deal unless they are happy with the offers – with £50 million the potential benchmark.
The Gunners for their part are open to the idea of Tel, but sources from the North London club have told TBR Football that they are considering a ‘number of options’ heading into the final day of the window.
Why are Bayern Munich so open to letting Mathys Tel leave?
Tel was not included in Bayern’s squad to face Holstein Kiel over the weekend as the German club discussed deals for the Frenchman.
But regardless of a potential transfer, the 19-year-old wasn’t a major miss given his minutes under Vincent Kompany have been very limited this season.

The German club are now keen to cash in on the striker especially if they are to receive more offers like the one they got from Tottenham.
