What Arsenal’s David Raya did at full-time after Spain beat England in Euro 2024 final

Arsenal trio Aaron Ramsdale, Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka suffered heartache with England at Euro 2024 on Sunday evening.

The Three Lions fell to a 2-1 defeat to Spain in the final in B♔erlin after Mikel Oryazabel’s late winner. England fell behind shortly after halftime but Cole Palmer’s effort in the 73rd minute looked set to take the game to extra time.

Unfortunately for Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice, i🌟t wasn’t meant to be as Gareth Southgate’s side suffered back-to-back European Championship final defeats.

While it proved to be a gut-wrenching evening for England, Arsenal star David Raya proved to be on the right side of the result.

Like Aaron Ramsdale, Raya didn’t feature in🍎 Sunday’s final but after the full-time whistle, he was quick to console his Arsenal teammates on the pitch.

A classy touch from Raya

While Raya would have been eager to join in with the post-match celജebrations, it was brilliant to see the Spani🦩ard take the time to console Rice and Saka.

It was certaღinly a classy touch from the 28-year-old and is unlikely to be forgotten by both Saka and Rice in the weeks to come.

As for England, Saka was undoubtedly among their best performers in Germany and can hold hi♒s head high after a memorable run to the final.

All eyes will be firmly on Gareth Southgate’s future now after falling agonisingly short at Euro 2024.
