‘What are we doing’: Some Leeds fans don’t agree with Victor Orta decision
A number of Leeds United fans have criticised the club’s decision to send Ian Poveda out on loan.
The Whites announced on Monday that the 21-year-old had left Elland Road to link up with Blackburn for the season.
Poveda joined Leeds from Manchester City in January last year and has made 20 appearances for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

However, he has made just two starts for the Whites – one in the Championship and one in the FA Cup.
On the move, Leeds director of football Victor Orta told the club : “We feel Ian can make an impact here in the future.
“We’ve been very impressed with how Blackburn have developed players such as Harvey Elliott at Liverpool.
“We hope Ian can get some game time and come back to us next season ready to fight.”
However, some Leeds fans feel Poveda should’ve stayed at Elland Road to provide cover as the season goes on:
This dosent feel right, you have 1 of our best talents! I hope he does good for you 👍

That’s a shame :( was rapid last season. Does that mean we are getting another winger?

Why, he was well good. Game changer in the making.

I know we rely on Phillips, but we also rely on a minimum of ten other players 😂

Knew this was coming, Poveda said to Bielsa I need to be playing more Bielsa replies ok . And that’s what happens. We definitely need Two or three new faces before window closes , With Raphinha called up for Brazil and a few injuries and suspension . We may struggle .MOT
