What angry Alejandro Garnacho was spotted doing towards the bench during the first-half of Man United vs Brighton
Manchester United defeated Brighton and Hove Albion 2-0 at the Amex on Sunday afternoon, with Diogo Dalot and Rasmus Hojlund the goalscorers.
Despite that, United have finished the campaign in eighth, missing🧸 out on qualification to an🍰y form of European football.
They still have a chance to compe✨te in the Europa League next season, though, if they defeat Manchester City in the FA Cup final at the en💜d of the month.
They’ll have to be at their very best to have any joy in that, though, and Erik ten Hag may have to have a little word with Alejandro Garnacho about one thing he did during the first half.

Alejandro Garnacho angry at Man United’s defending
Mail Spor🍎t journalist Nathan Salt took to X in the first-half as he spotted Garnacho g🌃esturing to the bench in frustration after Joao Pedro split open the United defence.
“A frustrated Alejandro Garnacho ha𒆙s just gestured to the bench to ask what the hell is going on after Joao Pedro – again – cut through United with ease⛦. Plenty of fans asking the same thing,” Salt .
Whilst it’s an understanda🍎ble r♏eaction, as a professional, Garnacho must work on his body language and cut this element of his game out. After all, winning football matches takes a collective effort, so it can’t be totally pinned on the defence.
Erik ten Hag won’t be pleased
T🌳en Hag already dealt with an incident a couple of weeks ago when the Spaniard liked posts on social media questioning his substitution.
Admittedly, this sort of behaviour is to be expected with a young player, so the senior members of the dressing room just need to have a quiet worꦕd.
It’s certainly not a major problem by any mean𝄹s but it won’t contribute towards a harmonious culture around the club – which seems to have be𓆏en a problem for much of the season.
The talent is there, and so too is the endeavour and hunger, sꦗo ꦉthis is just a small thing for Garnacho to work on over the summer.
