What Ange Postecoglou has previously said about Marcus Rashford as Tottenham consider loan move for Man United striker
When it originally became clear that Marcus Rashford could leave Manchester United, very few would have imagined the forward heading to Tottenham Hotspur.
Ange Postecoglou’s side are lacking in attack, but Tottenham’s most glaring weakness, or🗹 lack of depth, has predominantly been in d✱efence.
Archie Gray and Radu Dragusin haven’t proved to be a successful duo, even if Spurs’ summer sign🉐ing from Leeds United has still impressed overall.
But with Son Heung-min not at his best, and the likes of Brennan J🍸ohnson also having his doubters, Spurs do need to add offensively too.
Now, Tottenham want Rashford on loan according to repඣorts, a move that would be fascinating to watch unfold.
Ange Postecoglou insisted he had ‘no interest’ in Marcus Rashford ‘noise’
Of course, Postecoglou was questioned about Tottenham signing Rashford before the club’s Carabao Cup tie against Man United last month.
The Spurs manager was pretty clear that he had ‘no interest’ in getting inv♑olvꦇed with the saga, a stance that may have now changed if new reports are to be believed.

Postecoglou said: “There’s always noise aboꦦut Manchester United, comeꦗ on mate. Where have you been?
“No interest. Don’t care. Not interested. He is a Manchester United player. A very good player, they have ple✱nty of good players, but I manage my players and other managers will manage their own players.
“In terms of Marcus’ situation, ♍I have no real desire to examine it any furth🍨er.
“If I looked at everyone we🍰 were linked to, I would have no time to do anything else to be honest. I have got other people to do that part of the process.
“For us, we’ve been pretty disciplined in what we’re trying to build 𒐪here and weജ’ll continue to be so.
“That’s not on my radar🌃 (signing Rashford in January). You can ask me about Marcus but you can ask me about every single Pr▨emier League footballer and I’ll say the same.”
Would Rashford be a good fit at Tottenham?
In truth, were Rashford to move to a Premier League club, S🌳purs💞 do seem pretty well suited for the England international.
Postecoglou’s 4-2-3-1 is ideal for Rashford’s skill-set, a player who could also be well suited to atꦑtacking the big spaces that Spurs exploit in quick transition.

However, any move away from United perha🤡ps hinges on Rashford finding a good fit as a person, as well as a playꦆer.
A🐽nd in that respect, Spurs could provide the Uniteཧd forward with a very good platform to succeed and reinvent his career, even if it is only a short-term loan.
