‘What a performance’: Manchester City fans laud Jack Grealish display against Norwich
Manchester City cruised their way past Norwich City today as Pep Guardiola’s men gave Daniel Farke’s side a rude awakening.
City were ruthless in front of goal and produced the goods when it mattered the most. An own goal from Tim Krul started proceedings, before Jack Grealish, Aymeric Laporte, Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez.
It was an emphatic statement from City, who showed the size of their squad and power again to put the Canaries to one side without even hitting top gear.
Among the classy performances on display, City fans will have been delighted with what they saw from Jack Grealish on his home debut. The £100m man oozed class, and looks every bit the City player.
As well as his goal, Grealish looked a threat from the off and has seamlessly slotted into things under Guardiola. So, while it might have been £100m, it’s looking like money well spent.
