Report: West Ham name price for midfielder as Serie A duo circle
West Ham United want to recoup £10 million for midfielder Pedro Obiang as his place in Manuel Pellegrini’s plans looks in jeopardy.
, the 27-year-old is being courted by Serie A outfits Bologna and Sassuolo.
The combative performer featured in 29 games in all competitions last season but was by no means a first-team regular in terms of starts.
Pellegrini has captured the highly-rated Pablo Fornals this summer and with Jack Wilshere, Declan Rice and Mark Noble all at the club, competition for places is intense.

West Ham could enter the transfer market again this summer. A striker, in particular, might be high on their list of targets.
Marko Arnautovic has departed, whilst the club missed out on Maxi Gomez who wants to join Valencia instead,
Obiang has been with the Hammers since 2015, joining from Serie A outfit Sampdoria.
TBR Verdict
It has been an exciting summer for West Ham supporters so far, with Pellegrini assembling a solid squad.
Fornals is a truly exceptional signing for the Hammers and he could take the Premier League by storm.
If the club can get £10 million for Obiang it would represent a good deal.

Last season he was only a peripheral figure and offloading a player who isn’t going to play much makes sense.
Now that Gomez is off the shortlist, the Hammers must look elsewhere for a striker.
The money from Obiang could be put towards a top talisman and the departure of Obiang is one that West Ham should definitely consider.
