West Ham fans react to performance of Pablo Fornals in Gillingham win
West Ham United left it late to secure their passage into round four of the FA Cup. The Hammers defeated Gillingham 2-0 thanks to late goals from Pablo Zabaleta and Pablo Fornals.
David Moyes made it two wins from as many games with a professional display against Steve Evans’ team.
It means the Hammers avoid the embarrassment of last season where League One AFC Wimbledon thrashed them in humiliating fashion.

West Ham played well throughout the contest and Moyes looks to have the team focused once more.
One man who appears to be getting up to scratch with the demands of English football is Pablo Fornals.
The Spaniard arrived in the summer for £24 million His arrival from Villarreal caught the eye, with the youngster boasting an armoury of tricks and flicks.
His goal at Priestfield Stadium was his second of the campaign, whilst he has also claimed three assists.

Of course, supporters will hope for more as the season progresses but there are signs that the 23-year-old is getting up to speed.
Following yesterday’s win and a goal for Fornals, supporters took to Twitter to rave about the Spaniard.
Here is a selection of tweets regarding the pocket rocket’s performance against Gillingham:
Fornals is getting better and better by the way. Classy player

Shame Haller missed that chance was unlike him but unlucky with his post shot.
Overall thought he was pretty good defending set plays and constructing moves.
Zabaleta tbf got his goal and think Fornals was very bright when he came on…he's proving the doubters wrong now

I love how Fornals just shoots from good positions, need to train Lanzini and Felipe to do that.

Fornals getting better and better, big player, will be even bigger next season.

Fornals in about 10 mins has done far more than Snoddy had done during his entire time on the pitch. Fornals could be awesome as a CM if required

Fornals btw is everything we think Lanzini is. He arrives late into the box he drifts into those pockets of space and has that creativity in his game. Starting to really show his worth and quality.
