West Ham United board feel hugely concerned by two signings and are now set to take action
TBR Football understand West Ham United are now set to part ways with Tim Steidten.
πThe German β who was appointed Technical Director at the London Stadium back in July 2023 β has overseen a number of high profile signings since arriving in east London.
Expensive deals for the likes of Mohammed Kudus and Edson Alvarez were negotiated by the 45-year-old, although there have been some questionable developments behind the scenes at West Ham.
ΰ²Both David Moyes and Julen Lopetegui fell out with Steidten β with the latter even eventually banning him from Rush Green.
Despite this, TBR Football understand πGraham Potter was willing to see if he could work with Steidten β an exclusive we published two weeks ago.
Now, sources have provided Graeme Bailey β Chief Correspondent at TBR Football β with an update on the Tim Steidten situation.
West Ham United set to part ways with Tim Steidten
πWe understand the Hammers are now ready to terminate their working relationship with the man born in Bremen.
Potter has opted to take Kyle Macaulay from Chelsea as his new Head of Recruitment β although TBR Football have been told by sources close to West Ham this is not the reason for Steidten departing.
TBR Footballΰ² understand the issue with Steidten regards his mixed success in the market, with those in the boardroom at West Ham particularly concerned by the signings of Niclas Fullkrug and Luis Guilherme.

βThe east Londoners spent Β£27m on the Germany international β who has missed 13 games through injury and only scored two goals in 11 appearances.
κ¦In regards to Guilherme, the 18-year-old cost West Ham Β£25m when arriving from Palmeiras back in June, but has only been afforded 45 minutes of Premier League football, failing to score or assist.
βIt is believed Steidtenβs departure will be confirmed before the end of this month β after he became increasingly detached from recruitment at West Ham.
