West Ham United board feel hugely concerned by two signings and are now set to take action

TBR Football understand West Ham United are now set to part ways with Tim Steidten.

πŸ’ƒThe German – who was appointed Technical Director at the London Stadium back in July 2023 – has overseen a number of high profile signings since arriving in east London.

Expensive deals for the likes of Mohammed Kudus and Edson Alvarez were negotiated by the 45-year-old, although there have been some questionable developments behind the scenes at West Ham.

ಌBoth David Moyes and Julen Lopetegui fell out with Steidten – with the latter even eventually banning him from Rush Green.

Despite this, TBR Football understand πŸ™ˆGraham Potter was willing to see if he could work with Steidten – an exclusive we published two weeks ago.

Now, sources have provided Graeme Bailey – Chief Correspondent at TBR Football – with an update on the Tim Steidten situation.

πŸŒ„We understand the Hammers are now ready to terminate their working relationship with the man born in Bremen.

❀The east Londoners spent Β£27m on the Germany international – who has missed 13 games through injury and only scored two goals in 11 appearances.

κ¦—In regards to Guilherme, the 18-year-old cost West Ham Β£25m when arriving from Palmeiras back in June, but has only been afforded 45 minutes of Premier League football, failing to score or assist.

β™“It is believed Steidten’s departure will be confirmed before the end of this month – after he became increasingly detached from recruitment at West Ham.

Graham Potter keen to sign Angel Gomes

𝄹The post-Steidten era may involve an England international arriving at the London Stadium.

TBR Football understand κ§…West Ham have offered Lille No.8 Angel Gomes a contractπŸ”― as he approaches free agency this summer, although Tottenham are also keen.

𝔉Potter is believed to view the Londoner – and Ezechiel Banzuzi – as key parts of a midfield overhaul at West Ham.
