West Ham trio Haller, Anderson and Noble all resume training

West Ham United have seemingly received a triple boost in their preparations for the Watford clash, with three key stars having returned to first-team training.

Haller (£45 million, ) and Anderson (£42 million, ) both picked up small injuries in the opening game against Manchester City, forcing them to miss the weekend 1-1 draw with Brighton.

Noble has been sidelined since the summer with a calf problem, but could now be in line to make his first appearance of the season against the Hornets.

Manuel Pellegrini would ideally like to field all three, with the club chasing their first win of the new campaign.

TBR’s view

With Watford having lost their first two games, there’s a real opportunity for the Hammers heap more misery on Javi Gracia’s this weekend.

And there will be an improved chance of that happening if all three returning players are able to start.

Noble has actually been a fairly big miss so far, with his leadership and relationship with Declan Rice a big thing for the Irons.

Obviously Haller and Anderson are quality players too, and the duo could really cause some damage at Vicarage Road.
