Report: PL rival deals Moyes blow over 6-assist West Ham-linked star
According to , Chelsea have explored using West Ham United-linked Tammy Abraham as a makeweight in a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
The Stamford Bridge natives are desperate to sign Haaland this summer, despite accepting that he is extremely difficult to land. Dortmund are also demanding at least £150million for the Norway sensation, whose wages would smash the Blues’ current pay structure.
Thomas Tuchel has marked a new striker as his top target for the summer transfer window. And Chelsea will continue to explore signing Haaland so long as they receive enough encouragement from the players’ camp.

Chelsea could be boosted in any efforts to sign Haaland should Manchester City acquire Harry Kane. Pep Guardiola landing the Tottenham Hotspur forward, over Haaland, would reduce Dortmund’s ability to seize a bidding war this summer.
The Blues have also made attempts to see what interest there is in Abraham at the Westfalenstadion. Chelsea are aware that Dortmund would want a replacement lined up to allow Haaland to leave, but it is unclear if they are interested in taking the Englishman.
Chelsea would be willing to allow Abraham to join either as part of any Haaland deal or as a separate transfer. They value the forward at £40million and will listen to offers from other clubs.
Their plans to include Abraham in any deal for Haaland will come as a blow for Moyes. The West Ham boss wants the 23-year-old at the London Stadium, but has no interest in paying more than £25m, per the .
TBR’s view: West Ham dealt Abraham blow
Chelsea offering Abraham to Dortmund on its own will come as a blow for West Ham and Moyes. But it also delivers an additional blow, as it raises doubt over the Stamford Bridge natives accepting anything less than £40m for the England international.
Tuchel’s side are clearly intent on using Abraham in whatever way they can to raise the funds needed for Haaland. So, Chelsea accepting a bid worth £15m less than their asking price is extremely unlikely. No matter how much Moyes wants him at West Ham.
The Hammers could benefit greatly from having a player like Abraham in their ranks. He scored and offered six assists in all competitions last season. Even though he only started 18 of his 32 appearances.
