West Ham target Pascal Gross would fit in perfectly

Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross is reportedly on the radar of West Ham.

, the Hammers and Liverpool are both interested in the 27-year-old ahead of the January transfer window.

But the reported on Tuesday that Liverpool were already eyeing up a deal for the creative playmaker for January, as Jurgen Klopp pondered a potential £15million move.

West Ham should step up their interest in Gross and try to match Liverpool for his signature in the New Year.

West Ham are currently without injured pair Manuel Lanzini and Jack Wilshere, which means the midfield area is lacking some extra creativity.

Gross made a huge impact at Brighton last season, scoring seven goals and supplying eight assists in the Premier League to spearhead the club’s relegation fight.

He’s now back in action after an injury setback this campaign and has the ability to cut the grade at the Hammers.

His vision would add a whole new dimension to West Ham under Pellegrini and he would certainly help the attacking style of football.

The Hammers have climbed to 11th in the league table after three consecutive victories, but could do with reinforcements to the squad in January and Gross would tick a lot of boxes to fill the midfield.
