West Ham star would represent quality summer swoop for Liverpool.
Liverpool are preparing to face Tottenham in the Champions League final a week on Saturday and hope to end their long wait for silverware.
The Reds lost in the Champions League final to Real Madrid last season and haven’t won a competition since winning the League Cup in 2012.
Attention will quickly turn towards next season following the showpiece in Madrid. Liverpool claimed 97 points this season yet didn’t win the league, so a few additions to the squad wouldn’t go amiss.
It is all about remaining competitive alongside Manchester City, who will probably strengthen themselves on the back of Vincent Kompany’s decision to move on.

West Ham United forward Felipe Anderson has emerged as a shock transfer target for Jurgen Klopp this summer,
The Brazilian has enjoyed a sound maiden campaign in the Premier League since signing from Lazio for £36 million . Featuring in 40 games in all competitions, he netted ten goals and registered five assists.
At 26, Anderson still represents a work in progress and that would make him a good signing for Liverpool. Klopp has shown his ability to vastly improve players and he could have a seriously positive impact on Anderson’s career.

Versatility would make him a quality addition to Liverpool’s ranks. At the London Stadium, he has played either through the middle or on the flanks and that would bode well given how Klopp likes to line up.
All in all, the West Ham star could prove to be a sound acquisition to Liverpool’s squad for next season.
