West Ham should sign Kieran Tierney this summer and fix problem position
West Ham United need to strengthen at left-back ahead of next season.
Manuel Pellegrini has been torn this season between Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku for the position.
The pair have made a similar amount of appearances (19 for Cresswell, 22 for Masuaku), but neither has really nailed down a place in Pellegrini’s starting XI.

Masuaku has been routinely criticised for his defensive lapses, and Cresswell has struggled to show he is a good enough backup.
It’s certainly an area for improvement within the team, and West Ham could do worse than to join the hunt for highly rated Celtic defender Kieran Tierney this summer.
Ambitious West Ham can finally fix their problem position
Tierney has made waves for the Hoops since bursting onto the scene in 2015.
The starlet has gone on to make 165 appearances for the club so far, winning nine major trophies.
He has achieved a lot in a short space of time, and his performances on the pitch have led to interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.

Most recently, Arsenal, Leicester City and Borussia Dortmund have been linked, although Dortmund have supposedly now ruled themselves out of the running after balking at the £25 million asking price ().
West Ham should seriously consider entering the race as Tierney, solid both defensively and offensively, quite clearly has the quality to play in the Premier League.
It would be a good move for him – he is still young and there is plenty of time for him to join one of Europe’s elite clubs should he realise his vast potential. He’d be an upgrade of West Ham’s current options and play week in week out.
