West Ham should hijack reported interest in Juventus goalkeeper – TBR View:
If you consider West Ham’s number one Lukasz Fabianski is 36, it makes sense for the club to target a goalkeeper in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Hammers have Darren Randolph and David Martin as back-up goalkeepers. However, David Moyes’ side really need to bring in genuine competition for Fabianski, especially if they are in Europe next season.
It looks like West Ham will at least have Europa League football next year unless they collapse drastically in the next four games, and Champions League football is still firmly a possibility.
Fabianski is still a quality goalkeeper, but he’s at an age now where bringing in someone to push him for a starting position makes sense.
Moyes should consider hijacking reported interest from his former club Everton in Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.

, Premier League rivals Everton are considering an offer for Szczesny, but are not willing to spend more than £9million.
If the 31-year-old shot-stopper is available for a seven-figure sum this summer, it’s a deal that West Ham should be all over.
Szczesny, who has 52 senior international caps for Poland, is the first-choice goalkeeper for his country ahead of compatriot Fabianski.
He’s an elite goalkeeper who’s won three Serie A titles, as well as two FA Cups during his time with Arsenal. His experience in England also works in his favour if he was to return to the Premier League.
If West Ham have Champions League football to offer at the London Stadium, then the Juventus number one is the type of ambitious target they should be trying to bring in to massively improve their squad.
