West Ham round-up: Forward deal close, midfielder switch possible
Perez possibility
West Ham are in the market for reinforcements to their front line and versatile Arsenal outcast Lucas Perez, who is capable of playing out wide or through the middle, looks set to move across London in the final days of the window.
says West Ham are eyeing a move for the £5m rated 29-year-old with Unai Emery deciding the Spain ace is surplus to requirements for the forthcoming season following a campaign spent on loan with Deportivo last year.
Perez is seen as a much cheaper alternative to Porto’s Moussa Marega, with the report adding the Portuguese side are demanding £36m for the striker.
Quina for Gomes
Plenty of speculation has orientated around Portuguese duo Domingos Quina and Andre Gomes, with both tipped for potential moves from their respective clubs – and it is now stated that a swap deal concerning the pair could be on the cards.

According to Spanish outlet , West Ham are considering offering 19-year-old Quina as makeweight in a deal bringing Gomes to the London Stadium from Barcelona, with the 25-year-old interested in a move to the Premier League.
Quina has caught the eye for Portugal’s U19 side this summer and has less than 12 months remaining on his contract.
Karanka’s Byram interest
Plenty of links have circulated to suggest that Sam Byram could return to the second tier after struggling for regular football at West Ham, with the former Leeds man widely linked with a move to Nottingham Forest.
It seems a deal could go ahead in the final days of the window as Forest boss Aitor Karanka has confirmed the club’s interest in a deal.
“He is one on the list. He is a West Ham player and we are not in a hurry. We have another few days to try to buy someone and another two or three weeks to try and bring someone in on loan.”

Moukoudi rejection
West Ham have already strengthened their central defensive ranks this summer with the additions of Fabian Balbuena and Issa Diop but Winston Reid’s latest injury setback has left Manuel Pellegrini on the hunt for further signings.
The Hammers have been attributed with an interest in Le Harve’s Harold Moukoudi, a 20-year-old who has caught the eye in the second-tier of French football, but a gutsy call has been made that has seen the defender reject a move.
Reports from French radio station , Moukoudi is keen to remain with his current club in France as they battle to return to the top-tier of French football.
